Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with SARL "Chalet Le Pery".

1.  Bookings, Deposit and Payment

All bookings require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the booking cost (or full balance if less than 8 weeks before arrival) to confirm the booking.  We will send you a booking confirmation with information about your holiday along with our booking form and invoice requesting payment.  Bookings will be held for 7 days while we await the arrival of your payment, until payment has been made the booking is not deemed confirmed. In the case of all parties or groups comprising more than one individual the client (Group Leader) who confirms the booking will be liable for all other persons in their group both in terms of payment and ensuring their compliance with these terms and conditions.  In the case of individual bookings the traveller (Individual) is responsible.  The final balance of the booking is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. If payments are not made within the above schedules, bookings will be treated as cancellations and any deposit received will not be refunded.  We reserve the right to refuse to accept any bookings at our discretion, refunding any deposit received.

We accept payment by bank transfer or MasterCard/Visa.

2.  Prices

Chalet Le Pery guarantees the price of the holiday as quoted at the time of the booking and reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of any unsold holidays at anytime.  Your holiday price does not include:

-  Travel insurance

-  Travel costs

-  Transfers

-  Lift passes, equipment hire, lessons or any other booked activity

-  Lunch (catered accommodation only)

3.  Travel Insurance

It is the Group Leader's/Individual's responsibility to ensure they, or all other persons within their group, has their own medical and travel insurance policy/documents to cover themselves fully before arrival. To ensure the future business of Chalet Le Pery, wherever possible, we will request that guests first try to claim from their travel insurance company for any losses.

4.  Alteration of a holiday by a client

Should the Group Leader/Individual wish to change the booking dates Chalet Le Pery will endeavour to accommodate the changes subject to any differences in price and availability, but cannot guarantee that changes can be made.  Notification of alterations must be received from the Group Leader/Individual who made the original booking.  Any alteration by the Group Leader/Individual within 8 weeks of your arrival will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and will be subject to the cancellation charges set out below.

5.  Cancellation of a holiday by a client

Cancellation shall take effect only when Chalet Le Pery receives written confirmation from the Group Leader/Individual who made the original booking.  Chalet Le Pery will retain your non-refundable deposit and in addition apply cancellation charges shown below:

5 weeks - 8 weeks before arrival date - 50% of the total booking

2 weeks - 5 weeks before arrival date - 80% of the total booking

Less than 2 weeks before arrival date - 100% of the total booking

6.  Alteration of a holiday by Chalet Le Pery

In the event there has to be an alteration to your booking by Chalet Le Pery we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you one of the following options:

1.  Accept alternative arrangements; or

2.  Cancel your holiday and receive a full refund.

We will not be liable for refunding any other expenses which may have been incurred as a result of the booking.

7.  Arrival/Departure Times

Check in time is after 4:00p.m on the day of arrival, check out time is before10:00 a.m on the date of departure.  Storage facilities are available in the chalet outside of these times, if required.

8.  House rules

House rules will be provided on arrival and must be adhered to at all times during your stay.

9.  Smoking Policy

Chalet Le Pery operates a strict no smoking policy throughout the whole of the accommodation, including any bedrooms with adjoining balconies.  If clients wish to smoke they must do so in one of two designated areas outside of the chalet with any windows and doors closed behind them.  Anyone found to have breached this rule will have their holiday terminated immediately without compensation.

10. Catered Accommodation

- No food preparation is allowed on the premises, lunches and snacks can be purchased from local establishments.

-  Clients travel in company vehicles entirely at their own risk. We operate a daily shuttle service to and from the ski slopes between 08:30 and 10:00 and 16:00 - 18:00.  We will try our utmost to accommodate any requests for drop off/pick up outside of these hours but cannot guarantee our immediate availability.

- There are two resident dogs that will be present in the shared areas during your stay.  The Group Leader/Individual must ensure that all parties within their group are comfortable with dogs being in their company.  House rules regarding the dogs must be followed at all times.

11. Self-catered Accommodation

- The maximum number of guests permitted in the accommodation will be determined at the time of your booking, the accommodation does not accept any more than 10 guests.

- On arrival the Group Leader must advise us of any damage found in the accommodation within 48 hours. Any damage not notified will be assumed to be caused by the group and must be paid within 14 days of confirmation of the amount.

- On departure the accommodation must be left clean and tidy and check-out instructions adhered to. 

- No parties or events can be held in the accommodation during your stay.

- Pets are not permitted in the premises. 

12.  Responsibility

Chalet Le Pery will not be liable to any client for any loss or damages incurred by any client as a result of:

-  Any event or circumstance which could have been avoided if the client had taken reasonable care.

-  Any circumstance or event which Chalet Le Pery or its suppliers could not have foreseen or prevented even with all due care and attention.

-  Any event or circumstance affecting your travel before your arrival, during your stay or after your departure including, but not limited to, cancelled flights/ferries, border closures, non-essential travel restrictions.

-  Circumstances out of the reasonable control of Chalet Le Pery such as strikes, wars, civil or political unrest, quarantine restrictions, terrorism, government actions, natural or nuclear disaster, traffic conditions, adverse weather conditions, including avalanche, mud slides and lack of snow, injury or illness to staff thus reducing the level of service.

-  Injury, illness or death due to ANY activity at any time during your holiday, except where such injury or death is caused by the negligence or fraud of Chalet Le Pery.

-  Loss of, theft of or damage to any of your belongings at any time of your holiday.

-  Injury, illness or death associated with the consumption of any food or drink we may supply except where such illness, injury or death is caused by the wilful negligence or fraud of Chalet Le Pery.

13.  Behaviour and Damages

Whilst on holiday with us all clients are expected to act and behave in such a manner as not to threaten the condition of the chalet or disturb the enjoyment of other guests, local residents and suppliers or have a negative effect on the reputation of Chalet Le Pery.  If you cause any damage to the chalet fittings, equipment or any loss of contents or equipment then you will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.  If your behaviour or that of any member of your party seriously impairs the enjoyment of any other guest or local residents we reserve the right to refuse to further accommodate the individual(s) and forfeit the holiday cost and deposit.

14.  Limitation of Liability

In all cases where Chalet Le Pery assist in arranging any 3rd party service or any other activity for their clients, the contract is between the supplier of the service and the client and is not part of the Chalet Le Pery contract.  No liability will be accepted by Chalet Le Pery for any event, circumstance or injury caused while these services/activities are being provided or there is any dispute concerning costs.

15.  Photographic or Media Materials

You agree that any photographs or videos taken during your stay can be used by Chalet Le Pery on our public website or social media sites.

16.  Complaints and Problems

In the event that you have any complaint or problem please notify us immediately so that it can be dealt with quickly.  We regret we do not accept any liability in relation to any complaint or claim which was not notified to us during your stay.

17.  Website Accuracy

All information regarding accommodation, prices and services is correct to the best of our knowledge.  However, clients should be aware that information is liable to change from time to time.  If the information given is inadvertently incorrect this will not be accepted as a cause for a compensation claim.  All users agree that the English language version prevails over all translations in another language.
